- 1 large egg – separated
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 cup vegetable or canola oil
- 1/2 a cup milk
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon butter
First, separate the egg yolk from the white. Beat the egg white until it is frothy and stiff. Set it aside. Add milk to the egg yolks and beat well.
