Top skin diseases and their remedies

Many people today suffer from various types of skin diseases. Hives, moles and rashes are a few examples of more than 2,000 skin problems that people face every day. Some of them remain without effective treatment. But the symptoms of these skin diseases are obviously different, and they cause a different reaction on your body. Some can cause a minor reaction and are easy to treat, while others can be serious – even life-threatening – and can be difficult to treat. Here, we present four major skin diseases and a few of their possible remedies.

Eczema

Eczema is a chronic skin condition that can affect your daily lifestyle. It is a genetic disease, and it generally appears at an early age. The most common type of eczema is called “Atopic Dermatitis,” which refers to a group of diseases that cause other allergic problems to develop, like hay fever and asthma. Eczema seriously affects infants afflicted by it, but its effects can gradually fade over time.

This top skin disease is often controlled by proper treatment. The treatment’s aim is to relieve infection and inflammation. Creams and lotions are very common remedies which are recommended for eczema treatment. These are normally applied to the patient’s skin after bathing to keep it moisturized and free from irritating impurities.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is red, thick, bumpy scaling on a person’s skin. It can appear anywhere on your body, but typically occurs on the elbows, knees, scalp and back. The onset of psoriasis generally takes place in early youth. Over time, it may take over the whole body.

It is not normally curable, but it may go away by itself. Some remedies, including injectable medication, light therapy, oral drugs, and some topical creams are helpful in reducing this skin problem. Topical creams include steroids, moisturizers, dry cream, coal tar and vitamin D cream.

Acne

Many young people, especially teenagers, suffer from this skin disease. It consists of non-infectious pimples that appear on the face, back and even chest. Some of the most common causes of acne are dietary issues, sweating, hormonal changes, genetics, and stress.

For the most part, the skin problem cannot be avoided by teenagers. However, its effects can be avoided by using many homemade remedies that are readily available. Some herbal remedies such as tea tree oil, aloe vera, orange peel, oatmeal and honey are perfect for the treatment of acne problems.

Moles

Moles are any of various sorts of skin growths that are normally black or brown. They may appear anywhere on the body or skin, in groups or alone. Mostly they occur in early childhood, but they may show up in adulthood also. Sometimes they appear with a uniform color and shape, but over the course of time they may change slowly, altering their color and shape.

Some home remedies can effectively remove normal moles. But for serious moles, you should talk to your doctor – such moles can develop into malignant melanoma. Some popular home remedies can be used to remove this skin problem. These include apple cider vinegar, garlic, flax seed oil, pineapple juice and castor oil.
