Top 5 Australian dating sites to visit in 2018

Single individuals choose to promote themselves on dating sites more than doing things the old-fashioned way. That seems true no matter which country or continent that you live on. Maybe individuals find it easier since everyone everywhere has some sort of access to the world wide web. In the United States, Match is an enormous dating platform with millions of members and a high percentage of couples that met and got married from taking advantage of what the site offers. Another popular platform is eHarmony where the stats aren’t as high, but both are still part of the most popular dating platforms in the United States. Here are five top Australian dating sites that have members from different countries.

RSVP Rated 9.5 out of 10 stars

RSVP began on Valentines Day in 1997. They claim to be the largest online dating platform in Australia and have over 1200 new members joining every day. According to the website itself, 1 in 3 couples met on the site.

As with most of the dating platforms out there, it’s free to create a profile and add photos and fascinating things about yourself on said profile. If you find you’re interested in a particular member, you can send them a ‘kiss’, but you cannot message unless you are a premium member although they can contact you.

The prices seem reasonable: 1-month subscription for 20.00 AUD, 3-months for 51.40 AUD, and 6-months for 84.00. You’ll have to check out the site for more information, this is just the basics.

Be2 Rated 9.0 out of 10 stars

Be2 is a web dating platform for singles age 45 and up. The site began in 2004 and currently has over 20,000 users that register every day. They pride themselves on having over 12 million people have joined since their original start date.

Users start by taking a questionnaire on what they are looking for and how they describe themselves. This questionnaire takes around 15 minutes to complete, and users have actually been known to enjoy taking these personality tests. The site, like many out there, uses a specific algorithm to match you with your potential partner.

Your profile set up, personality tests, and basics are free of charge. Unfortunately, you’ll need to be a premium member to include certain things on your profile as well as a photo.

The prices start at 3-month subscription 86.07 AUD, 6-months 129.12 AUD, and 12-months for 172.2 AUD. Consider visiting the site for more information and facts.

BeNaughty Rated 8.5 stars out of 10

With a success rate of 89% and 40, 000 singles joining the site every week since their launch in 2007, it’s no wonder many people know its name. Also, using the platform for a one night stand is not uncalled for. You have your choice of options friends, friends with benefits, one night stands, casual hookups and more.

If you aren’t a premium member you can still interact with users in chat rooms and use the sites “Hot or Not” option, interact in the forums, block users, and more. It seems to give you a little more freedom to do things that other sites do all while being a free member. Premium members have more chances to connect since the site sends you 10 member matches a day, but being a free member has its perks too.

The pricing is a little different than other sites. You can get the Extra Security subscription for 17.26 AUD monthly, Chataholic subscription for 24.46 AUD monthly, and the Premium Date subscription for 35.98 AUD monthly. For more information on the site, be sure to visit it.

Singles50 Rated 8.9 out of 10 stars

Singles50 is owned by one of the above site mentioned Be2. You must be 50 years or older, if not, the site will redirect you back to their main site Be2 which is geared toward younger singles. Registration is free, and it begins with a personality test and an algorithm that matches you.

The site guarantees at least 10 introductions of other singles matched by the specific algorithm. A perk to having a subscription is that if you do not make at least that many introductions your subscription will be extended automatically. As with a few other platforms, you choose who can see or not see your photos, which are free to upload.

Prices are not available unless you sign up for an account.

Elite Singles Rated 9.7 stars out of 10

Elite Singles is one of the top platforms that singles go to for their dating tastes. It was born in 2008 and since has had more than 13 million singles worldwide. The site is targeted toward serious and educated individuals. The personality tests are a little more complicated than other sites. It actually helps to create a more accurate psychological profile of yourself and other potential matches.

The site claims to have users that know what they want in love and are very specific in what they are looking for. It seems they are geared more toward that long-term relationship instead of just one night stands or one time connections.

The prices for subscriptions are for 3 months 65.19 USD, 6 months is 94.80 USD, and 12 months is 118.56 USD. Please make note, these are listed as US Dollars not Australian like the others.

While these sites are geared toward their Australian members, they do host members from different locales. In this day and age, the Internet is the main source for single individuals that are looking for love, dates, friendship, or simply the companionship of someone that shares the same interests as you do.
